For several years, Troop 868 has assisted the Down's Syndrome of Louisville association with their annual Walk/Run to raise public awareness and to raise funds to provide special programs for those with Downs Syndrome in our community.
Our guys arrive early to help with decorating. Then, during the event, we supply extra manpower to staff various tables and help run some of the games in the "carnival" area. After everything is over, we assist with take-down and cleanup. This year, we were also honored to be asked to provide a Color Guard for the opening ceremony.
